The Feminist Stokvel’s Hair Soiree #2: #HaveYouSeenMyHairline

The second edition of the Hair Soirees is upon us! Awesome brown ladies can join Millisuthando, Wisaal, Kavuli, Panashe, Danielle, Nova, Pontsho and Lebo to discuss this hair issue that has surely touched many of us on our studios. As always the ladies of the Feminist Stokvel aim to provide practical tips for caring for natural hair while creating a safe space for black women to explore and talk about the intersecting issues. 

After hosting a successful first event (Natural Hair 101) , the Feminist Stokvel is hosting their second event that will provide an introduction to ‘Hairlineology’.

The ‘Hairline curriculum’ includes the following topics:
  • Hair Typing
  • Overall Principles
  • Alopecia Definition
  • Types of Alopecia
  • Traction Alopecia
  • Treatment

Time: 11.30 for 12.00 – 2pm
