FAVOURITE BLOGS: Dynamic Africa: The Blog, The Continent

By Panashe Chigumadzi (@panashechig)

The blog is an ingenious curation of the high and low brow, the latest trends and nostalgia, the critical and the trivial that come together to form a mix that speaks to the dynamism of Africa’s cultures.

Just as Africa is often thought a country, its cultures often seen as a single, homogenous blur, Dynamic Africa is one of a rising set of pan-Africanist blogs to put that myth to bed. The blog is an ingenious curation of the high and low brow, the latest trends and nostalgia, the critical and the trivial that come together to form a mix that speaks to the dynamism of Africa’s cultures.

The blog was founded in 2010,  by  Cape Town based student, Funke M. The amount of content loaded onto the site is breathtaking, and yet Funke is able to maintain the quality.
